The laundry and rental service (lavanolo) is a strategic activity of Hospital Service. It consists of providing integrated rental and reconditioning services for reusable items used by healthcare facilities, as well as by industries and service companies.

The rental items mainly include:

  • Flat linen: sheets, pillowcases, bedspreads, blankets, tablecloths, etc.
  • Garments: gowns, uniforms, footwear, workwear, etc.
  • Bedding: mattresses, pillows, beds, etc.

Once used, the items are collected and reconditioned through a process of disinfection, washing, drying, and finishing in a highly technological facility that maintains the highest quality standards.

Thanks to cutting-edge IT systems and the constant pursuit of new technologies, all rented items can be customized and identified with microchips or barcodes, ensuring traceability throughout every stage of management and washing - right up to final delivery. This also makes it possible to monitor each product's entire life cycle and to identify and replace obsolete items.

Our many years of experience and the digitalization of our processes ensure an efficient rental and reconditioning service for professional workwear and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Given the specific nature of these items, all processing stages are subjected to strict controls: only suitable articles that comply with the requirements of the relevant sector will be delivered to the Client.

For logistics management, we use computerized systems that interact with those of the client facilities, ensuring a flexible, precise, and punctual service. Items are moved from their points of use to the facility and then returned to the wardrobe of the served structure.
